CHEFS Bonaire

Since our time at culinary school, we, Han ten Winkel and Mark Tromop, have been inseparable. We embarked on a culinary journey that took us around the world, where we honed our skills in numerous renowned restaurants. Ultimately, we were drawn to the serene coast of the small Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire, where we made our dream come true.

Our vision is crystal clear: 'Use only the best ingredients to create refined dishes, served in an intimate, personal setting where the roles of Chef, Maître and Waiter merge seamlessly.'

We believe that a true Chef should strive to merge extensive experiences, innovative ideas, expert techniques, diverse cultures and, above all, the highest quality ingredients into an unforgettable culinary journey - all infused with an undying passion.

We recently welcomed new members to our team, increasing our versatility and flexibility. Chefs Jochem de Heer and Boaz Aalvink, originally from the Netherlands, bring a wealth of expertise and a shared passion for the art of cooking.

In our kitchen, Jochem and Boaz work their culinary magic in close proximity to our guests, which ensures a personal experience where we really take your preferences into account and give you the undivided attention you deserve.

At CHEFS you are not a customer, but a highly valued guest. A good dining experience is fine, but a great dining experience is what you're really looking for.

And food brings people together, to meet, greet and enjoy an intimate culinary experience. Chefs is located in the beautiful Bamboo Bonaire Boutique Resort.

After a warm welcome at 7:00 PM, we will personally guide you to your seat. A very comfortable seat, placed in a surprising setting with a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. This is an opportunity to meet new people and share (Bonaire) stories and adventures. A place where we not only create culinary masterpieces, but also personally serve them to you.

At CHEFS we do things slightly differently. We do not present you a menu as you may be used to from most restaurants. Instead, we prepare a five-course culinary adventure for you, using only the best and freshest products, specially flown in or available on our island. We pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients to serve you, our valued guest, only the best.

Our menus are created with passion, fusing our experience, ideas, techniques and cultures into an unforgettable culinary evening. Naturally, we will take into account any dietary requirements or allergies you may have. Just let us know when you make your reservation.
