Meet Bärbel
Hi, I'm Bärbel, originally from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and now proudly working in the community of Bonaire. As a mother of two, I know exactly how important it is to feel special, pampered and beautiful in a relaxing atmosphere. I have designed my salon experience to leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and more confident than ever.
Our Expertise
With over 20 years of experience as a stylist, I have never been more in love with my craft and my clients. I pride myself on continuously taking classes to learn the latest trends and techniques. In Amsterdam, I enjoyed working at Koffijberg Hairdressers and Toni & Guy, where I learned so much.
I see my role as your stylist differently than most. While most stylists offer a great first service and solid maintenance care afterwards, I work with all my guests on a long-term hair care plan. This ensures that your hair, color and style always look fresh and you are never bored or stuck in a routine. Throughout the year, I stay in touch to see if there are any new issues and we work on them together.
More About Me
When I’m not in the salon, I often channel my inner mermaid and try to get my toes in the ocean or sand at least once a week. I know all the great snorkeling spots and have all the tips to keep your hair looking great, even after a dip in the ocean.
I have a hidden talent for baking and if you’re in the salon on a Monday, you can often get a taste of my latest creations, like chocolate chunk cookies, blondies or dipped shortbread cookies.
